Brad and Ted - I have a similar request for ARMv2 phones in Toronto. Are these the kind of phones you need? Bug 764806 Since the phones in the bug are discontinued and hard to find, is there a chance you might be able to share the phones with Ian Barlow's group?
I can't see that bug, can you CC me? I don't think this will be a problem since they're all in Toronto.
Ted - You're already cc'ed in bug 764806. These are the phones that Ian requested: Samsung GT-i5700 Galaxy Spica (320x480 display) HTC A6363 Legend (320x480 display) Samsung GT-B7510 Galaxy Pro (320x240 display) Samsung GT-i5510 Galaxy 551 (240x400 display) Samsung GT-S5670 Galaxy Fit (240x320 display) HTC A333 Wildfire (240x320 display)
Okay, I finally found time to look at this. It seems like the selection of phones there only encompasses two different chipsets: Samsung GT-i5700 Galaxy Spica,Samsung S3C6410 HTC A6363 Legend,Qualcomm MSM7227 Samsung GT-B7510 Galaxy Pro,Qualcomm MSM7227T Samsung GT-i5510 Galaxy 551,Qualcomm MSM7227 Samsung GT-S5670 Galaxy Fit,Qualcomm MSM7227 HTC Wildfire A333,Qualcomm MSM7225 All those Qualcomm chipsets are basically the same thing. I'll go back and look at the original list of ARMv6 phones and see if we can find a few more that would give us better chipset coverage.
Okay, after going over a large list of ARMv6 phones, it turns out that there are only about 4 different chipset types in use. Two of them are covered by the list above, but if you could find one of these: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro (Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset) and any one of these: Samsung GT-i7500 Galaxy HTC Hero; G2 Touch; Dopod A6262 HTC Magic; A6161; T-Mobile MyTouch 3G (Qualcomm MSM7200A chipset) I think we'd have pretty good coverage of the types of phones that are widely used.
The order for a Sony Ericsson Xperia and another ARMv6 phone has been placed.
Whiteboard: Waiting for user response → Ordered 7/12
ETA for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro is 7/20. FedEx Tracking #: 537270755719
Xperia Mini Pro received in toronto, Asset tag # 09273. Let me know who I should deploy this to.
Anyone on the graphics team is fine, Joe Drew or Jeff Muizelaar are the most obvious candidates.

Regarding the last phone from the remaining list (comment 6), I have checked with 3 vendors and they do not have any of these. Samsung GT-i7500 Galaxy HTC Hero; G2 Touch; Dopod A6262 HTC Magic; A6161; T-Mobile MyTouch 3G (Qualcomm MSM7200A chipset) It would be helpful if you can provide me a link of a vendor who does have this in stock.

I wouldn't know where to start to find one of these. I simply built this list based on a list that Irina Sandu produce based on usage statistics. If we can't get one, then I guess we can't get one.
I'm going to close out this bug, since there's no other action item. If you do have another request, please open a new ticket in ServiceNow.
