Steps to reproduce:

I see that the Marketplace Privacy Policy states,

"You can browse the Mozilla Marketplace without logging in to BrowserID, however, you cannot install an App or purchase an Add-on without logging into the Mozilla Marketplace with BrowserID."

However, it the implementors have decided that free apps do not require logging in to the Marketplace (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=757872).

The Marketplace Privacy Policy also states,

"When you install a paid or free App, we send a digital receipt of that App to the developer of the App. ... The digital receipt contains your BrowserID username (usually your email address) as well as other information."

However, according to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=739699 it is no longer true that receipts no longer include user identifiable information.

Expected results:

The privacy policy should be changed to reflect the implementation.

Nominating to block basecamp. Seems like our policies should be in line with the process.

Wontfixing. Product says you'll need to be logged in to install any apps.

Just got a chance to use Marketplace. I am able to install free apps without logging in. (Good!)

The privacy policy still states that you must log in to install free apps.

So I hope you will revise the statement of the policy.
