Please create a new A record for "sms1.private.phx1.mozilla.com", pointing to the desired IP address (probably the same as ip-sms01). Note that a CNAME to ip-sms01 is *not* useful here due to split horizon view issues. It may be desirable to alter the ip-sms01 record to CNAME *to* sms1.private.phx1.m.c, which is fine. I put an emergency patch into the Services nameservers to try and workaround the split horizon issue, which will hopefully last until this is resolved.

I added the A record for sms1.private.phx1, leaving the existing ip-sms01 A record alone for now. I did also change the in-addr record for 10.8.75.17 to point at sms1.private.phx1.mozilla.com as this should be considered the canonical name.
