Tested using the latest hourly which contains the huge DBLI patch. https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/4c2ddc60f360 Running Win7 x64 STR: 1. Open https://tbpl.mozilla.org 2. Click on any cset listed on left side of page 3. Click 'back' or use back button mouse... - Crash! Will try to repo with a Nighly build so we can get a crash + symbols, hourly's don't have symbols. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:16.0) Gecko/16.0 Firefox/16.0
Doesn't happen for me in my own debug build of changeset 37776fc33437. Opt-only maybe?
Crashes in Safe-mode, also crashes when opening the attachment in this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=770000 then clicking back to return to the bug. the attachment is a short flash video. Also just now tried clearing cache, - still crashes. Does not seem to crash in a quick test on a new profile. This could be fun trying to figure out what in my profile is goofy if that's the case.
Using http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/d9d61d199b11 no Crash for the PGO and non-PGO Tinderbox Build over here. Also tried Safe-Mode.
Well, being the impatient type I 'reset Firefox' before the Nightly came out, re-installed my 3 addons, and tweaked a few pref's that I always change, and so far.. no crashes. Guess this is good, but now it will remain a mystery as to what was causing the crashes. I'll be glad to file a bug for an enhancement, but is it feasible to have Firefox dump the pref's that are reset after using the 'reset Firefox button' ? Closing this for now as WFM, reopen if this starts up again.
