Details
Reproducible: Always
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open two browser windows to whatever web pages.
2) Open the sidebar in one of the windows.
3) Use the window whose sidebar is not showing to launch a new window, with Open
Link in New Window.
Expected Result: The new window's sidebar shouldn't appear, since the launching
window's sidebar was closed.
Actual Result: The new window's sidebar appears.
I can have five windows open; if even one of them has the sidebar displaying, a
new window will have it too, no matter from which window it was launched.
The new window should have the same characteristics as the launching window.

This does NOT work for me, Windows NT, build 2001100103. Additionally, it does
not work on my Windows 98 build from Friday.
I'll download the latest Linux build tonight and verify on that platform as well.
Samir, why did you mark it as WORKSFORME? Nothing has changed here at all. If I
have two windows open, one with a sidebard, one without, and launch a new window
from the window having no sidebar, I get a new window WITH a sidebar.
looks like its still problematic...reopening...

Additional info required to reproduce this problem: the sidebar expand/collapsed
state in new windows is not inherited from the parent window, rather it is
whatever the result of the last state change was. Taking for mozilla0.9.6.
