Steps to reproduce:

Opened email message and displayed it fully in the read pane.


Actual results:

This occurs almost every day.  After opening Thunderbird, I see all the messages in my top preview pane.  I double click on one of the new ones which then shows me the entire email. I usually do this with a string of emails from my many agents on eBay which sends me about 10 emails per day. I might or might not follow one of the links in the emails to eBay to look at an item (via FireFox).  In any case, when I return to the email, at the top of the email window are (or should be) options to "Reply", "Forward", "Archive", "Junk" or "Delete". I don;t care about the item being sold, I hit delete and the full pane displays the next email in the queue. Sometimes, most of those options are missing and I might only have one option, i.e. "Forward".  I then have to leave that email, go back to my preview pane and again select that same email, where all the options are now back again and visible.  


Expected results:

All options should always be visible when viewing an email.  I've spent my life testing software.  I suspect that this might somehow be linked to a bug I've submitted on several occasions where I might be looking at an email in the preview pane and the email goes blank in the lower pane and my place in the upper pane totally changes.  I suspect that some kind of indexing is going on behind the scenes and that it is corrupting my present view.  I have a feeling that this same bug has somehow now corrupted the full view of the email options to delete, forward, archive, junk, etc....  However, that is only a gut feeling.  I could be wrong.

After the buttons are missing, are there any errors in Tools->Error console?

I'm not sure if my comments were included.  Here they are again.  When I opened up my emails this morning, there were the top 3 errors in the console.  I don't think they are related to this issue.  I then started reading my emails and I think I only deleted 1 or 2 before the error occurred.  I was left with only the "Forward" option and all other options were gone.  I then checked the error console and found the two additional errors listed.
