I am in talks with the Fedora Infrastructure team. They are as interested in beta testing and migrating to Mailman 3 as we are, but haven't made much progress yet.
Writing (or using) a generic puppet module for Mailman 3 will help out both projects.
Next steps are to request a small VM, get it puppetized and get a working Mailman 3 site up and running for testing.
Severity: normal → enhancement

great to see this bug moving forward. A quick question: I'm told that Mailman 3.0 supports Mozilla Persona authentication. As we're looking at deploying it, can we check how/if that's working? How can my team help?

Hi Ben,
http://mm3test.fedoraproject.org/postorius/accounts/login/
That is a test instance the Fedora project has been experimenting with that you are welcome to use.
Postorius is the django webapp that is handling browserID integration with the mailman backend.

This hasn't gotten as much time as I wanted, but I still expect to have a working test instance up and running. Will be working on this the next 2 weeks.

This got slowed slightly with mailman RPM issues eating up some of my time last week. This will come down to the wire, but initial completion should still land at the end of this week.

that's too bad, given that mailman 3.0 supports Persona!

I'm going to close this for now, seeing how mailman 3 is still very much in beta. When it comes to a point where its released and stable I will setup a stage environment to test things out.
