Is this bug referring to the problem of the caret overlapping the "e" in the urlbar or is it referring to the duplicates that show up in the drop down list?

on the assumption that it's because of the duplicates, this was fixed a long time ago.. but if you still had old entries in your urlbar history that were dupes, they will remain until they get knocked out by newer entries.
There is both "www.site.com" and "www.site.com/" I think you should make it fixed, in IE and Netscape 4 this problem does not excist.

then this is a dupe of a bug that is already marked fixed. like I said before, if you have old sites in your urlbar history (stored in localstore.rdf) then you'll still have them listed. This bug is FIXED already.

I see this bug on Win98 2001 042012. See also bug 57932, duplication in drop-down history: "stuff" and "http://stuff".
