There's currently no way to search "Synced Tabs". Adding them to the autocomplete results on the awesome screen is one way to solve this. I know there's a tab page rework coming in F15 or F16 but, as far as I understand, it unifies local + remote tabs but does not allow either to be searched. See bug 729463 for switch-to-local-tab on mobile and bug 662664 for "Tabs from Other Computers" in awesomebar on desktop; the "Tabs from Other Computers" page from desktop in History is currently searchable. Panorama/sync integration, bug 652040, is related to this to, but I've no idea where that is on the roadmap.
