User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1 Build ID: 20120713134347 Steps to reproduce: I clicked on the "Sign In" BrowserID icon. I did this from a number of different MDN wiki pages, as well as through the you're sent to via the "Edit" button. Actual results: A new window opened and closed very briefly without giving me a chance to log in. The MDN page became busy and I remained logged out. Expected results: The BrowserID window should have opened, allowing me to enter my email address, password, and sign in. Then the MDN page should have refreshed, showing me as having authenticated.

I recently attenpted to log in with BrowserId via a new Firefox profile, and it worked perfectly. I'm not sure what that means though.

Thanks but I think that this is a different issue. Even using a new profile the browserid window opens for a split second & closes before allowing me to do anything. If I read your link correctly, browserid seemed to work in that case when using it with a different profile.

It sounds like it, yeah. How were you able to log in with BrowserID in a new profile if the window still cosed immediately?

I'm an idiot. It did work perfectly. Please disregard my last comment. We just had a baby a few weeks ago and in my sleep-deprived state I'm thinking very stupidly :/

Not a problem. I just graduated, so I remember what being sleep-deprived is like. I'll be sure we look into it.

Was sorting through old bugs when I thought of something. Can you log into other Persona-powered services (like https://mozillians.org/en-US/) with your normal Firefox profile? Can you log into other Persona-powered services with your other profile?
