The current incoming account information in account manager displays the SMTP server for the account in a drop down list and allows the user to change the SMTP server for that account.
I would like to see an edit box beside that list box to allow the user to edit the SMTP settings for that account. The seperation of incoming and outgoing servers as is done in Thunderbird causes significant confusion in the user community.
Placing an Edit button in the main account that opens the same dialog as if the edit button in the outgoing server (SMTP) list entry had been pressed would alleviate at least some of the user angst at not being able to locate the place to edit outgoing server information.

Summary: [ENH] Add an edit button to the SMTP entry in the incoming account information. → Add an edit button to the SMTP entry in the incoming account information.
A graphic to explain what I seek. Similar in action to the button in Junk mail that opens the global junk settings.
