Somewhere along the line a regression occurred where TalkBack stopped speaking items under the user's finger. It has to do with LayerView being a subclass of FrameLayout. Somehow TalkBack figures out that LayerView is now a group view, and does not speak events that come from it.

I don't believe so. There is no evidence in bug #779152 that it has been backported to Aurora.
