RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 780543

People

(Reporter: kazssym, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android; Tablet; rv:15.0) Gecko/15.0 Firefox/15.0
Build ID: 20120808131814

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to insert more text in the middle of already entered text in a form input field.

Actual results:

The composing text is commited while inserting text. When an input field has text 'one three' and I start inserting 'two' before 'three', the field has finally 'one ttwtwothree' with 'two' highlighted. This doesn't happen when appending at the end and doesn't always happen even if inserting.

Expected results:

It should have 'one twothree' with 'two' highlighted.
This happens with the standard keyboard of Android 4.0.3 on Sony Tablet S.
Is this still reproducing ? Can you link us with a website you are seeing this?
