Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.8.1+) Gecko/20010502 BuildID: 2001050204 The tri-pane threaded view of mail/news used to provide an icon to the left of a thread that let you expand and collapse the thread. While there is still an icon there, clicking it both opens the thread and selects all messages. Another single click does nothing. Double clicking will collapse the thread but will also open its originating message in a new window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open mail/news and get to a newsgroup in tri-pane, threaded view. 2. Click an icon left of a thread (is this what you call 'twisty?') 3. Thread expands. Now click again. Nothing. Expected Results: There are keystrokes (left, right on windows) to expand and collapse threads. You should be able to do same with a mouse. Maybe bug 78244 is related. Also, I don't see any menu item to do this work.
