Steps to reproduce:
1. Load Marketplace homepage https://marketplace-dev.allizom.org/
2. Click the icon to load the Settings page.
Expected results:
The default Region is "Worldwide".
Actual results:
The displayed region is "United States".
Notes/Issues:
Verified on FF17 (Win 7).

What's your language? en-US? If that's the case, then your default region is United States. That's to be expected.
When we have geolocation-based region assignments (bug 774746) then we can get more precise, but this is the expected behaviour.
