Ability to chat in private mode (without chat logging for a specific conversation or period of time)

Details
Some peoples don't want that their im conversation to be recorded and indexed. It should be possible to prevent any recording of chat through a preference in the option panel (or eventually in the account settings panel if we want that this setting to be per account). It may also be good to stop chat logging just for some specific conversations (like firefox does with the private mode). I don't know if I should open a new bug for this.

(In reply to Vincent (caméléon) from comment #0) > Some peoples don't want that their im conversation to be recorded and > indexed. It should be possible to prevent any recording of chat through a > preference in the option panel (or eventually in the account settings panel > if we want that this setting to be per account). See also bug 735314. It IS possible to disable logging, but there is no preference in the UI. (I think this paragraph is a dup of that bug.) > It may also be good to stop chat logging just for some specific > conversations (like firefox does with the private mode). I don't know if I > should open a new bug for this. This is a different request (but what matches the title this bug :-S).

Ok so I suggest that we only keep the second part of my request in this bug report ;-)

Severity: normal → enhancement
OS: Windows XP → Android
Hardware: x86 → All
Summary: ability to chat in private mode (without chat logging) → Ability to chat in private mode (without chat logging for a specific conversation or period of time)
most of the time you realize this just afterwards, so an option to delete some chat-messages from log would be nice (for ex. if someone told you a secret password in chat or so)
