Build Identifier: http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/3f0587ce1774 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/18.0 Firefox/18.0 ID:20120917030530 This is similar to Bug 770045 but different. Google docs spreadsheets selected cell misaligned when zoom-in [Ctrl++]. This does not happens in Firefox15.0. This happens in Firefox16beta and later. However, I think that it is a problem of Google. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Google docs spreadsheets 2. zoom-in[Ctrl++] zoom-in[Ctrl++] zoom-in[Ctrl++] 3. Select cell(E20) Actual results: Selected cell misaligned Expected results: Should not.
I confirm this on FF 18.0a1 (2012-09-18).

I've contacted Nick Santos From Google and asked him to take a look on this issue. This looks like an issue on their side.
Tal, did Nick ever get back to you?

Boris: To clarify, he filled a bug report on their end.
Yes, the spreadsheets team filed their own tracking issue for it. They say it's fixed in an upcoming release, but I don't know when that might ship.
Hopefully it's not another 4 months and five Firefox versions.
Thanks for the update Nick! Much appreciated!
This is still not fixed :-( It doesn't happen in Chrome. (However, I thought it was a universal bug, as I didn't realise I was zoomed on that page. Now I've restored normal zoom, the problem has gone away. So it's not as bad as I thought.) Gerv
Google docs has a new spreadsheet implementation now. It looks like existing spreadsheets need to explicity opt in to get the new implementation. But newly created one's will use the new implementation. It would be good to check if the new implementation has the same bug.
tn: thanks for the tip. It doesn't seem to be a problem with a newly-created sheet with the same contents. So, given that this only shows up on zoom, perhaps this is a WONTFIX. Gerv
