Paul, is this bug the same problem as bug 786238? I see that your Galaxy R and Desire Z are Gingerbread devices.
I don't think this is the same issue, because as Adrian said in bug 786238 he couldn't reproduce the issue on an HTC Desire Z device meaning his issue was not exclusively a Gingerbread issue, also in my case the video never starts(no sound no image) meanwhile in his case the audio starts playing but the video is never rendered. Aaron, I already tried with plug-ins disabled but the videos can't be played. I can't uninstall Flash for this devices.

on Android 4.4, I have no issues with Firefox Aurora 34. Is it still going on?
Works for me too, Nexus 5 (Android 4.4.4). If video doesn't play properly on other devices, it's likely a core libstagefright problem.

I was just about to comment on this: I've tested on various devices, and after some investigation, I observed that after setting stagefright.force-enabled to "true" and restarting Firefox, I was able to play videos on Dailymotion.com.
