Currently, alerts in Mozilla have gray borders. On Mac OS, they are supposed to have red borders. This is an important cue that the window is an alert, rather than a dialog. It is also one of the highest-reward bits of Mac-savviness for an app to have, since alerts are so common and since other OSes typically do not highlight this distinction between alerts and dialogs. Fixing this may fix bug 53345 for free.
