For some reason I can't double click on attachments to open them from within Thunderbird. If I double click or right click and choose Open nothing happens. I have tried deleting and re-doing the content type/action list under Tools, Options, Attachments. I can save attachments and open them from their saved location fine.

Jazz, pls ask for support at https://getsatisfaction.com/mozilla_messaging/ It's very unlikely that this is a bug in Thunderbird.
