When the user types on the keyboard, a black bar is drawn through the list of suggested words, and then gradually fades out. I don't know why it is there, but it needs to go. Maybe it is something required by the asian IMEs?

Should we ask for graphics help here?
Suggestions seem to be disabled by default in my local build.
Can anyone still repro?

Not sure. I can't reproduce this. Usually we do a "Worksforme"... removing QAWanted.
