day traders are dead in the water...
first greenspan doesn't loosen up fast enough,
now recent daily builds won't show technical graphs
so we can check out the trending, volume, Stochastic,
and other goodies as the stock goes to target price $115..
lets get this fixed quickly....
how to reproduce...
go to etrade.com
type in aol to the "get quote" form.
this should bring up a quote and 3 month chart.
then click on the link to "tech graphs"
this should get you to the test url above.
all the graphs showing various technical factors
are missing.... :-(

this is strange. it now seems to be working for me at home over
a dialup connection. maybe I just needed to reboot after
installing today's build to make sure I picked up
pav's latest fixes, or maybe its the connection, or maybe its....

I'm now back in the office on the high speed connection using the same build.
The graphs are *NOT* shown, so it looks like it might be related to
timing or connection speed.

I'm having trouble reproducing this, even on a slow link. I'll keep trying.

still happening for me (win98, 64 MB, 300Mhz, 56k modem connection)
after I log into my etrade account.
looks like they might have restricted the technical graphs to
etrade account holders. when I try to look at the graphs
before login I see "data not available".

some times the new data connection bug gets in the way of testing this now.

We're still getting legal-notice issues sorted out, and i think the
build system issues are wrapped up, but need to catch up on bugmail.
psm2 is built only when you set options psm2 1 (for mac), BUILD_PSM2=1
(for windows), or gmake -f client.mk BUILD_MODULES=psm2 (on unix, after
you have built normally).

hmm, works on win2k 256mb 1ghz 28.8 dialup... opt build 2001051504

ok, i still can't reproduce this.. it does sometimes take a little bit for the
images to load, but they always do. i do get some security warnings/alerts
when vising the above URL.. don't know if thats related.

this is in a build i did from around 10pm sunday night. it includes some fixes
to image drawing that perhaps fixed this problem, however I don't expect this
would be related to those...

since this only seems to be happening on a slow modem/slow computer, could we
get some help with qa to reproduce it?

This is a PSM "issue" (not sure it is a bug). The certificate of the site that
the images are coming from has expired. The build I am running with prompts me
asking me if I should allow it, whereas other people, including you, asa,
mscott, etc, don't seem to get prompted. Any idea who I should reassign this
to to get it looked at and taken care of?

I'd start with letting ddrinan look at it... This may also be some kind of
profile migration issue (with PSM 1.0 profile??) just a wild guess...
