Every time I click the Templates or Drafts or Junk summary folder in the Unified folder view I get this error in error console:
Error: NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER: Component returned failure code: 0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER) [nsIMsgDBView.open]

This does not happen when clicking on the real folders below it
(Templates or Drafts or Junk folders of the individual accounts).

If I stay hovering over the folder I get an empty tooltip and this error:

This also causes the tab title to be empty for these folders.

Can the following error I noticed when I ran "make mozmill" for thunderbird under linux be related to the bug reported here?

Happens on Win Vista, 64B, Thunderbird 17.0.

Forgotten to mention: It occurs in my Inbox, where I have 3 mail-accounts and one local folder summarized. In the detailed folder there is no problem, but there is no summary at all.

What I would say: There is missing some crucial feature :(

I don't know what's wrong here but here is definitely a problem...

I rarely use "unified" (i'm testing) and my Inbox is doing this on my laptop daily instance.

Unified Inbox shows list of message from last opened folder. (for example click a real trash folder, then click unified inbox - the message list is unchanged from the real trash folder)  Then, as I mouse over the message list the lines go blank
