We currently redirect marketplace.firefox.com to where the marketplace actually lives on marketplace.mozilla.org.  We need that to be reversed so marketplace.mozilla.org becomes the redirect.

This should *not* be done before Oct 18th but I'm filing it to get it on the radar.  I'm not sure what all needs to be done on the IT side or the dev side so let's talk. :)
installs_allowed in the manifest will need updating in the docs (and the validator too). We could run a quick script see how many manifests set this and then contact those developers and let them know.
It's after the 18th - we should start moving on this.  What's the plan from IT's side?
To give a timeline: Product & everyone else is expecting this URL to be the primary on Nov 15th.  So, I'd like to have this done well before then.
Are we also moving telefonica.marketplace.mozilla.org to telefonica.marketplace.firefox.com?

That domain can be shut down for now.  It is unused.

Thanks Andrew.  In order to notify the developers we'll probably need to schedule this a couple weeks out.  When do you want to flip the switch, Jeremy/Jason?
Looks like we need to hold off until the discussion in bug 804634 has reached a consensus.

This is happening.  Please give me a timeline for when you can have this ready by - we need to coordinate with some other moving parts.

These are the tasks that need to be completed:

1. Purchase or Reissue EV Certs for marketplace.firefox.com (bug 805105) and recieptcheck.marketplace.firefox.com (bug 809482).
2. Modify nginx configuration.
3. Zamboni config changes and push.

1 will take the longest. If we need to purchase new certs it could take anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks. Right now we are trying to get the current certs reissued which should be quick.

2 can be done anytime before 3.

Task 1 is done. SSL certs have been installed in Zeus.

What day do you want to do this? The other changes can be done very quickly, so any day you pick should be fine. Just let us know, so we can confirm.
