If installation of firefox fails through the stub installer, we should eventually report an error and close the stub installer

I've now hit at least two cases where installation failed, but the stub installer failed to report an error and continued to spin infinitely. The first was bug 799289, the second was an instance of the case of bug 799180. Is there anything generic we can do if installation fails? A timeout? Be able to generate errors? Anything?

Through the tests I've done so far, it's quite rare from what I've seen if installation fails. But, the severity is a bit high. Flagging as a want, but not blocking.

Jason, can you check this again now that Bug 811573 added handling for additional failure cases? Thanks
