Firefox 19.0a1 (2012-10-10)
Device: Galaxy Note
OS: Android 4.0.4

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to Menu > New Private Browsing Tab

Expected result:
The URL Bar background color changes to purple. Its layout doesn't overlap Tabs Menu button or other components.

Actual result:
The purple URL Bar background overlaps Tabs Menu button (see attached screenshot)

Since there is no other UX bug. This bug can probably be morphed into a, "PB UI currently sucks, let's improve it" bug for UX and dev.
I don't see a New Private Browsing Tab in the Menu of Fennec at all on the Galaxy Nexus. This is with today's trunk build. What am I missing?

It is now hidden behind an about:config preference

There's no pref. You need to do your own build and backout the patch from bug 800044 I think.
In http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/b11065872128, this bug has been fixed.
