Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1
Build ID: 20120907231657
Steps to reproduce:
I started thunderbird -no-remote, then in the news reader I clicked on one link
Actual results:
the messsage "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." was displayed
Expected results:
Thunderbird should have found firefox and ask it to open it.

Running firefox http://lwn.net/Articles/518558/rss from the command line does what I expected so why thunderbird can't just call firefox with the url I just clicked ?
