From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT; SYSCERT001) BuildID: 2001050521 When selecting a directory within the Choose Viewer file dialog, the display will momentarily show multiple instances of the /proc directory throughout the dialogs main text area. See associated URL. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Choose link to file without prescribed mime type 2. When Choose Viewer dialog appears, select go to root and select /usr for example. 3. Watch the main text window of the dialog closely. This may be exaggerated for me because I am running Exceed 6 on NT but many /proc entries appear breifly. NOTE: I am running X over Exceed 6 to NT. Display slowness is gernerally common with Mozilla. This bug may just be an artifact of that. OR this could be a bad interaction with the /proc vitrual filesystem on Linux.
This is just know slowness in the XP filepicker back when it was tree-based. This should be better now that outliner-based filepicker has landed. Please retest with a recent nightly. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 70628 ***
