installed twitter app from marketplace, was able to set your account but when trying to post a tweet, text entered kept disappearing. went to the marketplace to report this to developer in a review but found that the same text issue was happening in the marketplace review text area which makes me think it's something on our end. no idea if this ever worked but based on the fact that the twitter app has a couple of 4-star reviews it must have.

I've seen vanishing input using Swiftkey 3 in several form inputs (can't recall, but Twitter login might have been one of them). Whenever a predicted completion was applied, the word went into the nexus. Only a sequence of [space] characters remained.
This bug looks to be fixed when using the WIP patch in Bug 805162

Just did a quick check: can reproduce using:
 2012-10-25 nightly
 on Nexus 7
 Swiftkey Tablet trial "IME"
 search field on http://www.polygon.com

Interestingly not every word vanishes, typing the same word repeatedly it sometimes vanishes and sometimes is entered in the input. This is regardless whether the word is typed out completely and "confirmed" using the space bar, or if the complete word is selected from the prediction bar.

(switched to the stock JellyBean keyboard all words always appeared correctly)
Just stumbled over bug 797590, which is for Swiftkey issues specifically. "GCP" mentioned he wants to tackle that bug this week, are you aware of each other? ;)
