If you disable the provider (from Tools menu) then reenable it, the sidebar will remain empty (the area for the sidebar is present, but is just white). If you repeat this procedure it will come back again. While empty it does appear that the worker script is working (evidenced by the share and ambient buttons appearing). The sidebar can also be restored by unchecking and rechecking the "Show sidebar" from the ambient button. This started to happen on last Thursday or Friday's nightly build (also present in Aurora when I checked).
