80664 - PAC: crashes w/(talkback traces)

when i try to start-up mozilla i only get a small task-bar without any  status 
up and running
this only happens when pac (proxy automatic config) is active
running mozilla with -console gives following output:
stdout directed to dynamic console
stderr directed to dynamic console

PAC:Loading PAC from http://intranet/proxy.proxy

no crash but no ui so no mozilla :-(

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start mozilla


Actual Results:  small taskbar and window but no ui

Expected Results:  ui of mozilla and homepage loading

tested with a clean profile

Thanks for linking to the meta bug.
Lets keep this separate, b/c its a new problem.

Does setting proxy to direct or manual allow startup?
Does the problem occur with a one line pac that sends everything to direct?
Please attach pac file if possible.

direct allow's connection
manual also works

the pac did work but with this build i get the result i mentionend in the bug 
report


i have tested with 2 pac's:
1, from work under winnt 4 (i'll attach it tommorrow)
2, @home running win98 connecting with the webwasher local proxy (pac to be 
attached)

when i run the latest build (20010515) on my win98 i now get a crash in 
docshell.dll

This is going to new. key +crash +nsbeta1.

Necko eng doesn't have an owner for this, but I think we should ask Jussi b/c he
ownership of 79893. Also looks like bug 81256.

Please do NOT dupe reports this (or dupe into this) until we know how many root
causes there are.

On a previous build from the 15th, I didn't get the crash but there was no UI.
Also tested with clean profile.
