808210 - video and music in flyouts fails

We have a bug with flash plugins in flyouts.  In a previous conversation we talked about having the click on video in the facebook flyout open a tab instead of playing in the flyout.   The code in the facebook flyout does show an image first, and on click adds an iframe that loads the video.  That click handler should just open the tab.

Even if/when we fix the flash in panel issue, I think it is wrong on several levels to play video in the flyout.  The video will keep playing when the flyout is gone, then it can be difficult to find that flyout again to stop the video.  I think music in flyouts has the same basic issue.

Videos should become links starting next week (we'll still show the thumbnail but clicking will open a new tab to youtube or whatever). 

Music just opens the app for me (Spotify/rdio/whatever) and it seems to work fine on Windows.

Opens the app in the flyout? Or do you mean opens the desktop app? What if you don't have the desktop app installed?

if you click on a Spotify music link, it'll open up the Spotify Desktop app if you have it installed. Otherwise, it'll show a permissions dialog to ask you if you want to install the desktop app.
