(Whiteboard: c=Dashboards p=3)

It should be possible for people using the revision dashboard to filter revisions. There should be filters for (at least) locale, topic, user, and size of change.
Priority: -- → P1
Locale and user should be easy.

Size of change will be harder.

What are some example topics?
In the meeting today, we realized that we need some more clarity on filtering by size of change and filtering by topic. I have opened bug 810037 for that.

Until then, we will get started on user/locale filters with this bug.

Janet, Sheppy: How do you see yourselves using the locale filter? If the goal is to only show edits that happened in your locale, we can also look into making that the default.

I suspect that it will nearly always be used to show only edits in your own locale, but there may be exceptions (for example, Japanese users localizers will often want to see what's changed recently in English so they can update their content).
Gotcha. In that case, how about only showing edits from your own locale on the revision dashboard, and then using the localization dashboard (planned, but not implemented yet) to help localizers find updates in English.
I think a lot of people understand several languages and are interested in following changes in several languages.

I don't have a problem to have the dashboard defaulting to the locale language, but I would like to be able to see all edits like now (and on specific languages: "what is the recent activity on pl which just got an interesting edit on one specific page?").

I really think we need a filtering by language(s) on the revision dashboard.

The localization dashboard will have another goal: to show pages that are no more synced with en (or another language), not necessarily every single change.
Yes, your own locale should be the default. Admins/spam-fighters may want to look at other locales or all locales. For example, for a while, we were getting Chinese spam in pt-BR (or was the other way around?). That kind of thing is obvious even if you don't read the language, but you have to be able to watch for it.
