Devices: Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android 3.1), Samsung SII (Android 4.0.3) 

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch Nightly.
2. Load amazon.com
3. Zoom-in the page until the search field exceeds the right border of the display.
4. Select the text field and start typing something.

Expected:
After the text exceeds the display margins the focus should follow the cursor to be able to see the last added character.

Actual:
The page starts to flicker after the text exceeds the display margins.

The behavior was different before the patch in Bug 805162 landed. Before the patch, after step 4 the letters were doubled and overlapped one on another.

This is not a regression from Bug 805162 because on Nightly 19.0a1 (2012-11-02) after the patch in Bug 805162 landed the behavior is as expected no flicker occurs after step 4.

I am able to reproduce this issue on gmail.com (mobile site). If I type a password and the field is hidden by the VKB, the page will flick and zoom in/out and at some point, instead of the webpage, there will be just that grey screen which is beyond the page.
