User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/23.0.1271.64 Safari/537.11
Steps to reproduce:
I try to print larger pages. What doesnt work.
Actual results:
If i want to print larger pages. Like my ebay invoice with around 100 pages (no pdf, no Adobe Reader). Firefox 16.0.2 and older versions hold on by page number 35 (+-2 pages) (firefox.png). Now i must close the printing window to solve this problem. But Firefox doesnt run stable after that and have many bugs. The most are graphical. I try this many times with my brother printer and with a pdf printer. Dont have this problem with other browsers(ie, chrome). Same problem after firefox reset. Use Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
Expected results:
It would be very nice if someone can solve this problem. This is my first time, that i report a bug and hope that i made everything correct. Thanks

I don't think that we can test this as a 100 invoice from ebay is not something that common.
Do you know a different and public page that is causing this issue ?

Hi, i think you missunderstand me. The ebay invoice was a example. I have this problem pwith each large website. If i rint a large website with firefox and it has more than around 35 pages the printing doesnt work. If you look on the picture/attatchment you see that the printing process stop at 58% with page 35.
I hope that you can understand what i mean. My english is not the best.

You have given us one specific example and that's ebay. "each large page" isn't specific enough.
I'm asking for a public example URL so that we can test this with the same page where you get the issue.

This works fine for me on all platforms.
Michael, please answer Matthias' request. Without a link to an example where you could reproduce this issue we cannot confirm the bug.

Thanks for the testcase !
I can confirm a freeze either after a complete print or during printing with
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 and printing the testcase to the MS XPS writer.
The hang is with zero CPU and without memory grow.
My GPU:
Adapter Description Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Adapter Description (GPU #2)NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M
I can't test trunk because I'm blocked by bug 810597 (currently recompiling).
Reporter: Is the printing working again if you disable the hardware acceleration in Firefox: (alt key)/Tools/options/advanced/general (Extras/Optionen/erweitert/Allgemein?) followed by a Firefox restart ?
In case that it fixes the issue, could you please post the graphic section (not everything) from about:support ?

and I forgot to ask: Is this a new issue with Firefox16.0.2 or do you had the same issue for example with Firefox15 ?

This sounds like it might be a dupe of bug 717178.
