To my knowledge, these tweets should be updated automatically. However, it only seems to display old tweets at https://hacks.mozilla.org/
My only guess for thre reason is that the Twitter Tools plugin has an update waiting, and that this might hold it back for some reason (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=800810)

No update in 55 days now, and I'm forced to remove it from the start page.

Craig: Now that MWC and Flicks are out the door, can you check into what could be going on here? It is possible that we may need others involved. Can you see if there is an update?

@robert: Are Social and Twitter Tools both up to date? Can you show me how they're configured, maybe post screenshots of the settings pages? Or alternatively, can you set me up with access to hacks so I can poke around the settings myself?
I've installed Social and Twitter Tools on my own test server and it's fetching tweets, so it seems the plugin itself is functional but there could be something amiss in the configuration.

I've set you up as an Admin for Mozilla Hacks: https://hacks.mozilla.org/wp-admin/
Probably easiest for you to look and test things there (feel free to add the Widget back to the start page and test).
Looking now, the Social plugin isn't up to date. I can't update it, and previously I've requested a way to have a good process for that: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=793148

Well the settings all seem to be in order, so I'm guessing it may just need an upgrade to Social. I'll file a bug to update the plugins asap and we can see if that does it.

Thanks Craig. And yeah, I had a hard time seeing what the problem might be as well.

This was fixed a while back; it didn't need a code fix so we didn't have a commit to automatically close it.

I tried adding this to the start page on Hacks again, and it still doesn't update the tweets. This should be automatic, but doesn't seem to be.

Oh darn, I mis-read the title.
