You'll need to check out part of the mozilla.org repository, where the Thunderbird site is being stored. You can:

svn co https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/

Please translate the file in the mozilla.org svn repository for the Thunderbird 17 What's New page, that is:

/si/thunderbird/17.0/whatsnew/index.html

If you want to provide a translated image, you can place it in: 
https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/img/whatsnew/l10n/
The image name should be:
appmenu-si.png

Once the image is on the server, the page will automatically update the <img> tag. You do not need to change it.

Ignore comment 1, that checkin had the wrong bug number, so the script closed this bug instead. For people looking for that bug from hg annotate, see bug 821012.
