Description: Security Assurance Mentorship - Security Testing/Review Skills Development
Mentor: Various
Duration: 200+ hours
Requirements: Basic knowledge of how applications work, Review of the OWASP Top Ten bugs, Basic software development knowledge
Goals:
The goal of this mentorship is to provide the mentee with the knowledge and skills to be able to perform security reviews and testing. Acceptance into this mentorship is subject to a screening interview with a mentor, and requires that the applicant demonstrates a willingness to learn and commit to building the skills. In exchange, the mentee will build a portfolio of applications they have performed security testing work, an understanding of how to perform application security reviews, and the opportunity to contribute to a variety of Mozilla initiatives.
