Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/18.0 Firefox/18.0
Build ID: 20121121075611

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open some tabs in Firefox 18.0 Beta 1
2. Go to Options>Tabs and check "Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar"
3. Click OK
4. Hover over the tabs in the taskbar to see the preview

Actual result:
Firefox button has some black pixels around "Firefox" text.

Expected result:
Firefox button should have clear "Firefox" white text over orange background.

Can reproduce from Firefox 18.0 to latest Nightly.

Regression range:
Last good nightly: 2012-10-08
First bad nightly: 2012-10-09

Pushlog:

Had problems searching the regression range due to crashes caused by bug 793175, but managed to observe the issue before the crash.

Nothing in that regression range stands out to me. Can a Core:Graphics developer please advise?

Virgil, can you test this further using the mozilla-inbound builds within that range?
Bug 793175 or bug 798931 seem like the most likely options.
We'd take a low risk fix if found, but this is not severe enough to track.

Hello Virgil, I do not see this issue in the latest nightly. Can you please check on the latest release and/or nightly and let us know if you still see the problem. I'll update the status of this bug accordingly.

Virgil was formerly part of the Softvision QA team, but no longer active on Mozilla. If we can no longer reproduce this issue, just resolve this as worksforme... given the age of the bug I think there's a good chance this was fixed somewhere along the way.
Thanks Florin!
Considering the age and the fact that I cannot reproduce this issue, I will mark this as Resolved-Worksforme. Feel free to reopen the bug if this issue is still reproducible on the latest versions.
