What makes it feel slow/broken?

The gallery toolbar icons don't highlight when the user taps them (camera, crop mode, delete and share, etc...).  The response time on the camera icon is too long.

Did it prevent you from doing what you wanted? Why?

It slows me down, makes me feel uncertain.

How does this make you feel?

Device: Unagi, Nov. 22 Nightly.

Details:

It currently takes 5+ seconds to switch to the camera when tapping on the camera icon.  This is likely dependent on bug 814981.

Bonus: can you attach a video of the problem?

The time it takes to switch to the camera is a web activities issue, completely independent of the gallery app.  We can't really address that here.

If someone from UX of visual design tells me what kind of visual feedback is desired for the buttons, I'd be happy to add it. It should be pretty trivial polish.
