Neither of these patches can land until the dependent bug is fixed.

For builds like these which are not directly for tests of gaia, we are probably going to want to use the nightly branch of gaia. Which means either figuring out bookmarks in hg, or using the gaia-nightly repo, depending on which way bug 813421 goes.
Is that a blocker, or a nice to have?
The concern is that if gaia gets frequent landings then the build state on TBPL can changes in a completely non-obvious way compared to the checkin stream on inbound et al. nightly is a curated way to take good changes in a lump. Which maybe doesn't answer the question, other than to restate that as 'at least very nice to have, but the impact would fall on developers'.
OK. I'll definitely look into that.
Turns out the gaia repo with bookmarks is no good for us right now - it has thousands of heads and is unclonable over http. hwine is standing up the bookmarkless repo, we'll use that for now.
Summary: b2g builds should clone http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/gaia → b2g builds should clone http://hg.mozilla.org/integration/gaia-nightly
...and also add gaia-l10n to otoro.

Can't land this until the multilocale-clean target is fixed (right now it uses "git clean", which doesn't work in hg, of course!).
Depends on: 812829

The too-many-heads issue has been rectified, fwiw. (May not change code, just wanted to note bug 813421 comment #7, as it may impact bug 816116)

use gaia-nightly for b2g desktop builds

Planning to reconfig for this a bit later, hopefully with the patches from bug 812836.

do panda too

Landed cleanly on nightly. We need this on Aurora and Beta too so that we can enable multilocale on those branches.
