Explain the goal and use-case of having web analytics on this website.
- We'd like a better idea of how readers get to the site and how many people see each post
- Use Case: Over the course of several releases, we could see how popular each release announcement post was (measured in # of people who land on that announcement page)
Do you have requirements to track user interactions on your website?
What we'd like to track:
- a measure of how many people land on each page
- a measure of how they get there (who links to the page?)
- Heatmaps - which sections of the page garner the most attention (measured in time and clicks)
Define the people who should have access to the reports. The entire comms team

blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases
This has been implemented as a profile under blog.mozilla.org. This profile uses the same tracking code as blog.mozilla.org, once tracking is implemented on that site this should be working.

To use Google Analytics on this blog, we need to switch the theme to the "One Mozilla them that most other blogs are using. Do I have permission to switch themes on this blog?
I've reopened bug 806612 about the theme and made that block this bug.
