Manually add SUMO topics to Thunderbird articles once they are migrated from SuMoMo Will use a subset of SUMO topics (e.g. don't use these topics: bookmarks and cookies, problems with websites & probably don't need tabs topics)

Roland, let's use this bug to list the iA we want to use for Thunderbird. While we can add those topics in the admin, we'd need a list of topics for the AAQ form too, and that would need to be done in code.
Component: Knowledge Base Articles → Knowledge Base Software
Priority: -- → P3
Product: support.mozillamessaging.com → support.mozilla.org

Thunderbird can use many of the same topics that are used by Desktop Firefox with a few exceptions and often with just changing the word "Firfox" to "Thunderbird" Here's a first cut at the topics and sub-topics for Thunderbird 1. Topic:Learn the Basics. Get Started subtopics: i) Tips and Tricks ii) Tab Basics (Thunderbird does have tabs and they are confusing, not sure if we have an existing article for Thunderbird tabs, if we don't then just use this subtopic for future articles) no "Use Bookmarks" since there are no bookmarks in Thunderbird 2. Download, install and Migration i) Thunderbird versions and languages ii) Copy your personal information from one Thunderbird to another 3. Privacy and Security Settings i) Passwords, forms and search 4. Customize controls, options and add-ons i) Thunderbird controls and buttons ii) Tab settings iii) Customize Thunderbird with add-ons, plugins, and extensions iv) Thunderbird options, preferences and settings 5. Fix slowness, crashing, error messages and other problems i) Fix problems with email providers (gmail, Yahoo, etc.) ii) Error messages: what they mean and how to fix iii) Unblock Thunderbird from connecting to the Internet iv) Procedures to diagnose and fix problems v) Thunderbird is slow or stops working vi) Thunderbird crashes vii) Thunderbird won't save settings or remember information viii) Problems with add-ons, plugins or unwanted software

(In reply to Roland Tanglao :rolandtanglao from comment #7) > 1 more topic for KB is: "Calendar" which will be used for the Thunderbird > SUMOMO articles i meant "Lightning SUMOMO articles" (Lightning is a Thunderbird add-on for calendaring)

For AAQ can we not use the same topics as the KB? Namely: 1. Learn the Basics. Get Started 2. Download, install and Migration 3. Privacy and Security Settings 4. Customize controls, options and add-ons 5. Fix slowness, crashing, error messages and other problems 6. Calendar

(In reply to Roland Tanglao :rolandtanglao from comment #9) > For AAQ can we not use the same topics as the KB? We can and should and have to. But it can be a subset of them like we do for other Products. Your list seems reasonable to me!

I believe I added the topics to all the en-us articles tonight based on the slugs in this pastebin: https://pastebin.mozilla.org/4289564

I think we are done here. All the topics for Thunderbird on prod seem to have a good amount of articles.
