Please create newsletter template for Firefox Flicks 2013 participants newsletter.

- Due date: Newsletter sign-up will go live with Flicks R2 (Feb. 13th). Preferrably it'll be ready for that date, but it is possible to push this back +1 week, as we won't use the newsletter immediately.

Thanks Tobi, just FYI: we don't handle the dev/implementation piece.  Once design is finished we will attach the files and you will have to coordinate with Dev.  Please be sure to follow up on this bug and provide more direction when you have that.  Thanks. And please be sure that this (and all other design/copy/creaive related bugs are tied to the tracking bug)

I believe they want to send an email on 2/16.  So we'd need creative by 1/30.  Adding Chelsea to the bug so she can chime in.

Tobi is handling e-mails to participants, but as I know he's got a lot of things going on, from what I understand, Winston is correct that they want to send an e-mail on 2/16. So then they'd need the template for slicing by Jan 30. 

Checking the other bugs I haven't seen if Jess or webdev have committed to slicing in the template. Tobi can you confirm that someone is lined up for that and that getting the creative by Jan 30 works for their timing?

Hi everyone, 

Here is an example of what I was thinking for the newsletter layout.  Overall very simple, making use of some of the graphic elements found in the printed letterhead.  All copy on this is for placement only...I figured that is still to be finalized.

Please let me know what you think of this direction.

Matt - this is great! Just a few edits for easy email HTML slicing:

1) Make sure there's space between where the dots end, and the text begins (we can't use background images in email HTML)

2) I'd make the lower right film image at the bottom slightly smaller (when I slice it, the film image will become one large square and text will not be able to go inside the square - so we don't want a ton of white space around the image where text can't go)
