Actual Results: had to close page info using window manager button (small and
not handy)

If a window already has a close button in its title bar, then it shouldn't have
an extra button within the window content to close it (and vice versa). We
don't have such a button for Navigator windows, or for message composition
windows, or for Composer windows, and we shouldn't have it for Page Info
windows either. If the button provided by your window manager is too small, fix
your window manager settings.
However, it is a bug that the Page Info window does not close when accel+W is
typed. That bug has already been reported ...

wow, that was disorienting. Mozilla crashed, and when I got it back, the bug was
just gone...
anyway, I was going to dupe it against bug 77408. either way works for me.

Your opinion is inconsistent in that brwoser, composer and other MAIN windows
have menus to close the window. This windows does not provide any means to close
itself if the window manager for some reason dies.
99% of window manager themes (windows and MAC included) have too small buttons.
having a close button binded to enter and c-w to the close window function are
usability improvements.

Sorry, it's not Mozilla's job to waste screen real estate by providing
redundant buttons for closing a window, *just in case* your window manager
crashes. By the same logic, we would include a `Maximize' button at the bottom
of all windows too.

Similarly, it is not Mozilla's job to waste screen real estate by providing
redundant buttons for closing a window for the tiny minority of users who (a)
find the pre-existing buttons too small and (b) can't find the relevant control
panel setting for making them larger. By the same logic, we'd have a `Minimize'
button at the bottom of each window too. Hey, who needs a window manager at
all? Just get every app to include a row of buttons along the bottom of all its
windows!
Daniel's right, I did dup this against the wrong bug. My apologies.
