Broken out from bug 811528: (In reply to Ryan VanderMeulen from comment #32) > (In reply to Ed Morley [:edmorley UTC+0] from comment #31) > > Side note: Now that we're shipping B2G off of b2g18 do we even need B2G > > builds on aurora any more (until such time as we get closer to the next > > b2gNN fork)? > > It was decided this morning that uplifts only need to hit b2g18 these days, > so nothing else needs to be done here. Not sure if there's a bug filed about > not running b2g builds on Aurora, though. Given that: 1) Following the above, B2G landings are only going to be made to trunk + B2G18 2) We've not shipping anything B2G related from {aurora, beta, release} I think we should be able to safely turn off all B2G builds and tests on mozilla-aurora (beta already has them turned off). We may need to turn them back on leading upto B2G24 (or whatever version it may end up being), once mozilla24 moves from mozilla-central to mozilla-aurora and then mozilla-{beta,b2g24} (presuming that's how the next B2G branch will be taking place) - but we might as well save the infra load in the meantime. CCing some B2G people to confirm this is ok.

Don't we still need to make sure that platform landings don't break b2g?

(In reply to Ben Hearsum [:bhearsum] from comment #1) > Don't we still need to make sure that platform landings don't break b2g? Yes, but that's being done on trunk. We're not shipping anything B2G from aurora/beta, so it doesn't matter if a platform backport somehow broke something for B2G on them.

And if we aren't doing b2g, we don't need android-noion either.
Summary: Switch off B2G builds and tests on mozilla-aurora → Switch off B2G builds and tests and Android no-ion builds and tests on mozilla-aurora

bug 831111 comment 1 has your b2g stamp of approval, and hello capacity.

They are all hidden on aurora now, so they're a complete waste of capacity.

We should probably be running noion on b2g18 (we don't at the moment), I'll file another bug to discuss whether they need it there.
