mozilla (cvs, 05/27/01 0625 PDT) hangs when trying to load a java enabled page. The URL given is but one example where I have reproduced this. Same behaviour with Sun or Blackdown JVM ver 1.3.0. OS is RH 7.1. cvs options are... --disable-tests, --enable-optimize=-O2, --disable-debug, --disable-logging, --enable-mathml, --enable-svg
Confirming... I see something similar on another site. More details in a minute. This could be related to bug 34746, although I really don't know.

Same problem here. I've installed JRE 1.3 as described in the release notes and now Mozilla hangs on *every* java enabled page. OS: RedHat 7.1 Mozilla 0.9
cvs build 6/2/2001, 2010 PDT is working properly again...for me anyway. Same build options as original post.
Interesting...with Sun java plugin I am still getting the hang, but not with Blackdown.
Woops...I just realized that I didn't have mathml and svg enabled on last night's build. Let me re-pull and re-build it with the same options as before.
I didn't think mathml or svg had anything to do with it. They don't. cvs build 06/02/01 1118 PDT...Blackdown plugin works. Sun plugin hangs the browser on any java enabled page. Same compile options as original post.

WorksForMe using Sun JDK1.3.0_01 on RH7.0 with Today's mozilla trunk in non-debug mode. Visited the METARS weather page, went to theonion.com, went back and forward a couple of times, no hang.
