I ran into this bug today on my Keon with 1.1. More specifically:
Switching Firefox OS to a right-to-left locale (Arabic in the case of my Keon running 1.1) reverses the status bar icons, application icons, and tab order, but not the transition animations.
From the search tab one must swipe left-to-right across the screen to access the first app tab, but that tab will slide in from the right, which is confusing. Worse, the initial drag animation follows the gesture, so one can appear to be pulling the next tab in from the right, only to have it slide back because there's no tab to the left to transition to.

** Sorry for the noise **
Since we can't land a fix for this in 1.4 all we have rest is 2.0, and 2.0 will be shipping a complete different approach for Homescreen (Bug 989848) that doesn't include horizontal swiping, I'm closing all bugs related to _2.0_ and are about current Homescreen in favor of Bug 1008013.
