**DESCRIPTION**
The end user is not informed of new emails as email is not using the notification system of the phone

**PATH APP CLOSED**
1) receive a new email message

**PATH APP OPEN**
1) open phone app
2) press refresh to receive new email messages

**EXPECTED**
The user will be notified that new messages are received

**ACTUAL**
The user receives no notification that new messages have been received

[TEF_REQ] as Feature required for TEF build.

Obviously also reproduing in ZTE Open

After 24h using this device I believe this is the weakness number 1 of this product.

Use of notifications in the email app are being tracked in bug 892519. Even though this bug was opened first, marking it as a duplicate of 892519 since the other bug has product/ux guidance and actively tracked for v1.2 work.
