after updating from 18.0b1 to 19.0b1 the alternating background colours in my message list are gone.
The background colour is just white.
Now that you call attention to it, I don't see the zebra stripe here as well with:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:18.0) Gecko/20121128 Thunderbird/18.0 20121128133754
This is on a high density led monitor, and the striping has always been quite subtle to me. I'll look again tomorrow on my work laptop with winxp.
There are very very subtle stripes on Win XP in current nightlies.
Richard, this might be theme dependent, can you take a look
I don't see the stripes at all with windows7 in xp they are very light
The striping was removed intentionally in bug 811920. The explanation is in comment 2 and 3 of this bug.
